# TON Integration

Maxbid supports trading on The Open Network (TON), giving you access to the full TON token ecosystem using Solana as your funding source.

### How It Works

TON operates differently from EVM chains. Rather than routing trades directly, Maxbid first swaps your SOL into TON via a cross-chain swap, which then becomes your native trading balance on the TON network.

This one-time top-up gives you a native TON balance that you use to trade - no external wallet or manual bridging required.

### Getting Started

#### 1. Switch to TON

Navigate to the **Trade page** and switch to **TON** using the chain selector in the **top-left corner**.

#### 2. Top Up Your TON Balance

Click **Top Up** on the right side of the trade page.

Enter the amount of **SOL** you want to swap into TON, then confirm the transaction.

#### 3. Wait for Confirmation

Your top-up will show a status indicator. Wait until the status reads **Success** before proceeding.

> Cross-chain swaps may take a short moment to settle - this is normal.

#### 4. Check Your Balance

Once confirmed, your **TON balance will update** on the trade page. This is your native trading balance for the TON network.

#### 5. Start Trading

You're ready. Search for any TON token and execute trades using your TON balance.
