Wallet & security

Maxbid is built with a self-custody wallet infrastructure, meaning you remain in full control of your assets at all times.

You can create an account by signing up with your email and securing your login with your device authentication such as Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode.

Embedded Wallet Infrastructure

When you create your Maxbid account, a secure embedded wallet is automatically generated for you on supported blockchains.

Maxbid uses Privy as its wallet infrastructure provider to securely manage wallet creation and authentication.

This architecture allows users to access their wallet through a simple login experience while still maintaining self-custody of funds.

All transactions must be authorized directly from your device, ensuring that only you can approve transfers or trades.

Private Keys & Recovery

Your wallet is secured through private key infrastructure that ensures only the account owner can authorize transactions.

You may also be provided with a recovery phrase (seed phrase) that allows you to restore access to your wallet if you lose access to your device.

It is extremely important to store your recovery phrase securely.

Anyone who gains access to your recovery phrase can control your wallet and your funds.

Important Security Notice

Maxbid does not have access to your private keys or recovery phrase.

Because of this, Maxbid cannot recover wallets or restore funds if a recovery phrase is lost.

Always keep your recovery phrase stored safely and never share it with anyone.
