Staking
Providing Liquidity on Maxbid Pro
Maxbid Pro is structured as a decentralized, peer-to-peer platform for margin trading, with traders borrowing liquidity from lenders to trade on decentralized exchanges with leverage.
Liquidity provision on Maxbid Pro includes two key functions:
Lending - Actively managing a lending pool by creating loan offers for various tokens.
Staking - Passively staking token(s) on the protocol to earn yield.
Our goal is to make liquidity provision fully decentralized and permissionless. However, to prevent liquidity fragmentation, we are rolling out these features in phases, starting with staking.
Staking on Maxbid Pro is designed to remain liquid. To ensure this, a significant portion of the staked asset is delegated to external validators on the Solana network to generate native yield, while the remaining assets are deployed in lending pools on Maxbid Pro to earn returns from lending activities. This balance is actively managed to optimize staking yield while maintaining liquidity.

The unstaking process takes 5 days (120 hours) to complete and cannot be modified or canceled.
